The Wormery
In order to process the packaging waste from the farm shop, we soon realised that turning the waste into organic matter compost could actually provide another income stream by selling it in the shop to the very patrons that created the waste in the first place!

Townsend Farm Continuous Flow Wormery
Here at Townsend Farm we set about building a continuous flow wormery whereby we could keep adding material to the top and ‘harvesting’ the worm casts from the bottom.
